The Approach

An answer,
not an add-on.

A vitamin injection should answer a question, not be a default add-on. The right shot for you is the one that fits what is actually going on.

Clinical Summary

Vitamin and nutrient injections route B vitamins, lipotropic nutrients, and glutathione directly into muscle, bypassing the absorption limits of oral supplements. They suit patients with documented deficiencies, absorption issues, demanding training schedules, or energy dips that labs can explain, which is why Aetheria treats injections as clinical care rather than a drip-bar menu. At the Pittsburgh North Hills studio, Melissa Kolowitz, PA-C reviews your history and, where appropriate, lab work before recommending an injection cadence, often starting weekly before settling into maintenance. Appointments take minutes, side effects are typically limited to brief soreness at the injection site, and the plan is reassessed rather than auto-renewed. What you actually need (and what you don't) is determined at consultation. Individual results vary.

Our Approach to Vitamin Injections

Nutritional support, not a pick-me-up.

Vitamin injections are one of the most requested wellness services and one of the most oversold. The usual version is sold on energy, immunity, and a glow from a quick shot, and nobody asks why you might be run down in the first place. That is not what nutritional injections are for, and it is not how we use them. At Aetheria, vitamin injections are in-office nutritional support selected by a clinician and given as part of a wellness plan. Which one fits, and whether an injection fits at all, is a clinical conversation with Melissa Kolowitz, PA-C, who brings 20+ years of clinical and surgical experience and advanced certifications in medical aesthetics, neurotoxin treatments, dermal fillers, complication avoidance, and medical weight loss.

The Injections We Offer

Super MIC, B-Complex, glutathione.

Three nutritional injections, each suited to a different concern. The right one for you is selected in consultation, based on what you actually need. Cadence, dose, and whether an injection is appropriate for you are determined with Melissa. Not a guarantee of outcome.

Super MIC · The lipotropic injection

Super MIC is a lipotropic injection (methionine, inositol, and choline) with B vitamins. It is the injection that pairs with metabolic and weight care.

Designed for adults who want energy and nutritional support during medical weight loss, including appetite and mood support. Whether it fits your plan is a clinical conversation with Melissa, not an automatic add-on.

Who It's Designed For

Specific situations, not everyone.

Adults on a GLP-1 Wanting Nutritional Support

Designed for adults on semaglutide or tirzepatide who want Super MIC as lipotropic and B-vitamin support during active weight care, matched to their plan with Melissa.

Adults Concerned About Low Energy

Designed for adults who feel persistently run down and want B-Complex support as part of a wellness plan, where a clinician has reviewed what else might be going on.

Adults Concerned About Skin Clarity and Oxidative Stress

Designed for adults concerned about skin quality and oxidative stress who want glutathione as nutritional support alongside their skincare or aesthetic care.

Adults Who Want a Clinician's Judgment

Designed for adults who want an injection selected and given by a Physician Assistant who knows their history, not handed a shot without questions.

Adults Already in Care at Aetheria

Designed for adults pursuing medical weight loss, peptide therapy, or aesthetic treatments who want nutritional support that fits the rest of their plan.

Nutritional injections are a support, not a substitute for medical care. They suit specific situations, and a consultation confirms candidacy.

Part of Metabolic Health

Supportive, not central.

Alongside GLP-1 weight loss

Super MIC is the injection most often considered during active weight loss. Its lipotropic nutrients and B vitamins are nutritional support for adults already on semaglutide or tirzepatide, and the cadence is paced with your weight care, not layered on as an upsell.

Alongside peptide therapy and cellular wellness

For adults whose Metabolic Health plan includes peptide pathways, B-Complex and glutathione are sometimes considered as nutritional support. The decision is made with Melissa based on your goals, not from a default stack.

Alongside aesthetic continuity care

Glutathione is sometimes considered for adults pursuing Sculptra, Morpheus8 Burst, or Quantum RF where skin-quality and oxidative-stress considerations are part of the conversation.

On their own

Some adults come in for a single injection without any other program. That is fine. The consultation still happens, because even a simple B-Complex injection deserves a clinician asking why.

Vitamin injections are supportive, not central, and they are never added to every patient by default. The sequence is collaborative. The decisions are made in consultation, based on your goals and what is appropriate for your physiology.

Why Aetheria

One provider. Always Melissa.

One provider, every visit

At Aetheria, every vitamin injection is given by Melissa. Always Melissa. Same clinician, same clinical eye, every time.

A clinician selects the injection

We choose Super MIC, B-Complex, or glutathione based on what fits you, and we are honest when none of them is the right answer.

Honest about candidacy

If a nutritional injection is not what you need, you will hear that. If something else deserves attention first, you will hear that too.

Part of a real plan

Injections connect to medical weight loss, peptide therapy, and aesthetic care, so a shot is never a standalone upsell.

Boutique, not volume

No rotating staff, no quotas, no pressure to add a shot to every visit.

Surgical training teaches you to think about the patient in front of you as a whole physiology, not a single complaint. The clinical history we build at the first consultation informs whether an injection fits and which one.

Your Vitamin Injection Visit

A quick visit, with a clinician at every step.

Step 01

Consultation.

A conversation about your goals, energy, wellness history, current medications, and whether a nutritional injection fits. About 30 to 45 minutes for a first visit. No pressure to add an injection the same day.

Step 02

Selection.

Together with Melissa you choose Super MIC, B-Complex, or glutathione based on what fits your goals and your plan, or decide that an injection is not the right step right now.

Step 03

The injection.

A quick in-office injection given by Melissa. Most people are in and out in a few minutes once candidacy is confirmed.

Step 04

Cadence and follow-up.

If injections become part of your plan, cadence is set with Melissa and reviewed over time, paced to your goals rather than a fixed schedule.

A note from Melissa

What to expect, honestly.

Nutritional injections are supportive, and what they support is largely how you feel and function rather than something visible in a single before-and-after photo. There is no dramatic image to show the way there is for an injectable aesthetic result, and any pitch that says otherwise is overselling. What we can do is have an honest conversation about what a given injection is for, what is realistic, and how it fits the rest of your plan.

For adults pursuing aesthetic care alongside their injections, the visible work (Sculptra, Morpheus8 Burst, Quantum RF) has its own before-and-after documentation that builds over time with signed photo releases.

Individual results vary. Vitamin injections are nutritional support, not a substitute for medical care, a balanced diet, or treatment of an underlying condition. Not a guarantee of outcome. Candidacy is confirmed in consultation.

Common Questions

Straight answers.

What patients ask before booking.

What vitamin injections do you offer at Aetheria?

Three: Super MIC, a lipotropic injection of methionine, inositol, and choline with B vitamins that is most often considered during medical weight loss; B-Complex, a blend of essential B vitamins for adults concerned about low energy, mood, and skin, hair, and nail health; and glutathione, the body's primary antioxidant, for adults concerned about skin clarity and oxidative stress. Which one fits, if any, is decided in consultation with Melissa.

How is a vitamin injection different from taking a vitamin?

An injection places the nutrient outside the digestive tract, which some adults consider when oral absorption is a concern. That is not a reason to choose an injection by default. The more important difference at Aetheria is that a clinician selects the injection based on your history and goals, rather than you choosing a shot on your own. For many people a good diet and an oral supplement are entirely appropriate, and we will tell you when that is the case.

Are vitamin injections right for me?

That depends on what is going on, which is exactly why every injection starts with a consultation. A persistent lack of energy, for example, can have many causes, and a B-Complex injection is support, not an answer to all of them. Melissa reviews your goals and history and is honest about whether a nutritional injection fits or whether something else deserves attention first.

Can I get vitamin injections while on a GLP-1?

Often, yes. Super MIC is the injection most often considered during medical weight loss, as lipotropic and B-vitamin nutritional support for adults already on semaglutide or tirzepatide. The cadence is paced with your weight care and discussed with Melissa, not added automatically. B-Complex and glutathione may also fit depending on your goals.

How often would I come in for injections?

There is no set schedule. If injections become part of your plan, cadence is set in consultation with Melissa and reviewed over time, paced to your goals rather than a standing weekly appointment you are pressured to keep.

Are vitamin injections safe?

Nutritional injections are generally well tolerated. The most common experience is mild soreness at the injection site. As with any injection, candidacy matters, which is why Melissa reviews your medications and history before recommending one. If a nutritional injection is not appropriate for you, you will hear that during consultation.
