Led by Melissa Kolowitz, PA-C, you’ll work one-on-one—from consult to follow-up—with the same provider who listens closely, sets realistic timelines, and favors conservative dosing for natural-looking results. Sessions are unrushed and private, so you feel informed, comfortable, and confident at every step.

Your personalized plan may include injectables (neurotoxins, fillers, Sculptra®), skin rejuvenation (microneedling, chemical peels, supportive skincare), laser hair removal, and wellness options like GLP-1 medical weight management. Melissa Kolowitz brings more than 20 years of clinical experience to aesthetic medicine, with a background spanning women’s health, general surgery, pediatrics, and trauma care. Board-Certified through the NCCPA, she holds advanced certifications in neurotoxin and dermal filler technique, complication avoidance and management, and medical weight management.

Her approach is built on clinical precision first, with the artistry layered on top. Patients work with a provider who assesses anatomy carefully, doses conservatively, and follows up to refine. As co-founder of Aetheria, Melissa is proud to bring this standard of care to the Pittsburgh community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are consultations required?

Yes. Every new patient relationship at Aetheria Aesthetics & Wellness™ starts with a 30-minute consultation. We review your aesthetic goals, medical history, what you’ve tried before, and what you’d like over the next several years, not just today. Treatment may follow the same day if it’s a fit, or be scheduled separately. There’s no pressure to book treatment at the consultation. Every consultation is private with Melissa Kolowitz, PA-C.

Do you favor a natural look?

Yes. Conservative dosing is our default. We may underdose on your first visit so we can review the result together at the two-week follow-up and add more if you want. Going the other direction takes months for the product to wear off. The goal is to bring out the version of you that looks rested and authentically you, not to erase expression or change what makes your face yours.

Who performs treatments at Aetheria Aesthetics & Wellness?

Aetheria Aesthetics & Wellness™ is led by Melissa Kolowitz, PA-C, a Physician Assistant with more than 20 years of surgical and clinical experience. Her background in surgical settings informs a clinically grounded approach to aesthetic medicine, where treatment recommendations are made within the context of your full medical history. Patient care plans are developed and overseen by Melissa, with treatments performed under her clinical direction.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit begins with a private 30-minute consultation with Melissa Kolowitz, PA-C. We discuss your goals, review your medical history, and walk through which options are designed for your specific concerns. If you choose to proceed with treatment the same day and Melissa confirms it’s a fit, that can often be accommodated. Otherwise, treatment is scheduled at your convenience. The aim is for you to leave with a clear plan and time to consider it.

Aetheria Aesthetics & Wellness™ offers neurotoxins (Botox® and Xeomin®), dermal fillers including the RHA family, Sculptra® biostimulator, InMode Luxora with Morpheus8 Burst and Quantum RF, microneedling, chemical peels, laser hair removal, spider vein removal, ZO Skin Health medical-grade skincare, our Metabolic Transformation program with GLP-1 medications, and peptide therapy. Aetheria Aesthetics & Wellness™ is located inside Sola Salon Studios at 1000 Ross Park Mall Dr, Suite 4B, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, in Pittsburgh’s North Hills. Free parking throughout Ross Park Mall. Hours are Monday and Tuesday 12pm to 8pm, Thursday and Friday 10am to 5pm, and Saturday 10am to 3pm. We serve patients from the North Hills, downtown Pittsburgh, and surrounding suburbs including Cranberry and Wexford.
